Walking the Camino

A Pilgrimage of Body, Mind, and Soul

After Twelve Years… The Journey Continues

Twelve years ago, I began writing a daily blog while walking across Spain on my very first Camino.

At the time, I had no thought of writing a book. My goal was simply to let family and friends share the journey as it unfolded—one day, one village, one lesson at a time.

Those daily journal entries became the foundation of Camino Mystic.

Since then, I have been blessed to complete eight Caminos across Spain, France, Portugal, and Italy. Along the way, I continued writing, photographing, and reflecting on each pilgrimage.

Over the past year, I returned to where it all began.

I reread every journal entry, revisited thousands of photographs, and carefully shaped those experiences into a book that tells the deeper story behind that first journey.

Today, I am delighted to share:

Walking the Camino: A Pilgrimage of Body, Mind, and Soul

This is not a guidebook or a memoir of extraordinary accomplishments. It is the story of an ordinary pilgrim discovering that the Camino has a remarkable way of simplifying life, opening the heart, and reminding us that the greatest journeys often happen within.

If you have followed Camino Mystic over the years, thank you for walking this road with me. Your encouragement has meant more than you know.

If you are new to the Camino, I hope this book offers both inspiration and practical wisdom as you consider your own journey.

Thank you for being part of this adventure.

Buen Camino.
